This work has been made on the occasion of the anniversary of my mother’s death ten years ago (18 July 2013). The sound immersive, site-specific installation adapts to its new surrounding each time it changes locations. 18072013 comes with a Zine based on interviews around mortality, grief and anti-ableism.

Andreia Bickenbach is a mixed-media artist and a cultural worker within the field of a queer-crip-bipoc feminism; their storytelling often takes the shape of autofiction embodied in large scale installations.
